Jimmy Fallon hurts his finger again
Poor Jimmy Fallon can't catch a break.
The host of the "Tonight Show" took a tumble in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he was receiving the Harvard Lampoon's Elmer Award for Excellence in Humor -- it marked the first time the Lampoon has handed out this award in this century.
This was the comedian's second finger injury in four months; Fallon nearly lost a finger on his left hand in June after he fell and his ring got caught on a countertop as he came down.
This time, a source told People that a "random girl kneeled down in front of him abruptly as he was turning around and he tripped over her because he didn't see her." Fallon was holding a bottle of Jaegermeister when he fell and hurt a finger on his right hnad.
The comedian was carted off to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he got his hand bandaged up, but the comedian acted like a trooper, and returned to the evening festivities to party with the Lampooners.
The comedian seems to be in good spirits. He posted a picture of his hand on Instagram and wrote, "Nothing that a few band aids couldn't fix."
