Jane Seymour wants to revive "Dr. Quinn": We still have our costumes

Jane Seymour to CBS: Bring back "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman"

Jane Seymour, Joe Lando and many of the other cast members from the hit '90s TV series "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" have their costumes from the CBS show handy -- and they still fit. On a moment's notice they could toss them on and get into character again.

They did just that last December for a Funny or Die "Breaking Bad" parody -- dreamed up by Seymour herself. "'Funny or Die' said they wanted to do something with me, and they had some cute ideas. But nothing like that," Seymour told CBS News about the "Breaking Bad" spoof.

"We were so happy to see each other," said Seymour.

But Seymour says she's game for a real revival of the show, which ran from 1993-1998. and centered around the trials and adventures of a female doctor, played by Seymour, in a small wild west town.

"I have the costumes of Dr. Quinn," said Seymour. "CBS, if you want us back we are ready!"

Meanwhile, Seymour's back on the small screen with a recent guest stint as a romance novelist on the hit CW series "Jane the Virgin." Two episodes have aired, a third is coming, and Seymour is hoping for more.

"They asked me to be recurring, and I love it so much I'll recur as much as they like," said Seymour, who's heading to Cannes this week for her new film, "High Strung."

And in the meantime, Seymour, 64, has those "Dr. Quinn" costumes ready.

"No one ever got to say goodbye," she said. "It was canceled before we even knew."
