J.K. Rowling mourns Orlando shooting victim who worked on Harry Potter ride

Like most of the country, J.K. Rowling is heartbroken over the mass shooting in Orlando that left 50 dead at Pulse nightclub.

But for the "Harry Potter" author, one death in particular hit close to home.

Luis Vielma, 22, was a Universal Orlando employee and worked on the Harry Potter ride.

Rowling tweeted, "Luis Vielma worked on the Harry Potter ride at Universal. He was 22 years old. I can't stop crying. #Orlando."

Friends said everyone loved the young man. High school friend Eddi Anderson told the Tampa Bay Times that Vielma loved his job and was known for his pleasant attitude and warm demeanor. Josh Boesch, who worked with Vielma at Universal, told the Orlando Sentinel, "He was always a friend you could call. He was always open and available." Vielma "just wanted to make people smile," another co-worker, Olga Glomba, said.
