Immigrant rights advocates plan to protest Donald Trump in Arizona
When Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump heads to Arizona this weekend, he'll be confronted by protesters unhappy with his divisive rhetoric and aggressively anti-immigrant policy proposals.
In spite of Trump's promise that the wall plans to build at the U.S.-Mexico border won't be unwelcoming to legal immigrants -- it will, of course, have a "big, beautiful door" -- the group Puente Arizona thinks Trump is downright racist:

The group plans to make its opinions known at Trump's rally at Fountain Hills, Arizona on Saturday morning. Trump holds a second rally in Tucson on Saturday afternoon. His stop there comes ahead of Arizona's GOP and Democratic primaries on Tuesday. Trump has said he thinks he'll do "fantastically" in the state, thanks to his endorsement from controversial conservative Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Multiple groups have been planning protests against Trump's campaign events recently. On Monday, dozens of Jewish religious leaders will be protesting at Trump's address to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). Last week, the Trump campaign canceled its Chicago rally before it started after the event was overwhelmed by protesters.
On Friday, Republican candidate Ted Cruz was in Arizona, where he toured the U.S.-Mexico border with Arizona House Speaker David Gowen. While surveying the fence separating Arizona from Mexico, Cruz made a point of saying, "My five-year-old could climb this in about three seconds."
The Democratic campaigns are also stopping in Arizona this weekend. On Thursday in Flagstaff, Sanders slammed Arpaio, calling him "un-American and uncivilized."
