"If I Stay" trailer: Chloe Grace Moretz makes a life-or-death choice

If you're planning to bring tissues to the theater when you see "The Fault in Our Stars," consider setting some aside for another adaptation of a YA tearjerker coming out this summer.

A trailer has now arrived for "If I Stay," starring Chloe Grace Moretz as Mia, a teenage girl left in a coma following a horrific car accident. The young cellist, caught between life and death, searches back through her memories and watches as family and friends visit her in the hospital as she tries to decide whether to wake up and stay, or slip away and die.

The film, directed by R.J. Cutler and based on Gayle Forman's 2009 novel of the same name, is set to be released on Aug. 22.
