What needs to happen in the next 50 years for equality to be fully realized in the U.S.?

Hudson Taylor

We must come to understand that our differences in identity pale in comparison to our commonalities of experience -- that we have all been made to feel different because of how we identify -- but we each have the ability to use what privilege we have to help combat a prejudice.

Men can help end violence against women; straight people can help end homophobia and transphobia, and we can all do more for those that have less.

If we focus our energy on the things we stand for, we can begin to find common ground on the things we stand against. If we share that unity of purpose, we will achieve equality in the next 50 years.
