How to watch the 2016 American Music Awards

Sunday night marks the last big awards show of the year, with the stars of pop, rock, hip-hop and country coming together for the 2016 American Music Awards. Here’s how to make sure you don’t miss the action.

The awards show will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Cable subscribers will be able to stream the show on ABC.com and through the ABC app. Prior to the broadcast, the Coca-Cola Red Carpet LIVE! @ The 2016 AMAs pre-show will stream online for fans worldwide on the AMAs website.

Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharoah will serve as hosts, while several highly anticipated performances are expected, including One Direction member Niall Horan making his solo debut with a rendition of his new single, “This Town.”

Other perfomers at Sunday’s show will include Lady Gaga, Green Day, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Shawn Mendes, Twenty One Pilots, Fifth Harmony, The Weeknd and James Bay. Sting will also perform, celebrating his American Music Award of Merit honor.

Also on the lineup are some impressive team-ups, including the Chainsmokers and Halsey, Ariana Grande with Nicki Minaj and Maroon 5 with Kendrick Lamar.
