How to Erase and Donate Your Old Cell Phone

It's pretty common practice these days to upgrade your cell phone every year or two. Okay, but what do you do with the old model? WirelessRecycling.com shows you how to erase all the private, personal data from your phone, then find a local organization that accepts donations.

All you do is head to the site, choose your phone manufacturer and model, and click the Download Instructions button. You'll immediately receive a PDF document with easy-to-follow instructions specific to your phone. Once that's done, enter your ZIP code to find a donation center in your area.
