Homeless man found dead in car wash; 3 arrested

LEXINGTON, Ky. - A man found dead in a former car wash in Kentucky has been identified as a 50-year-old homeless man, reports CBS affiliate WKYT.

The body of Brian DePreta was found Monday at Premier Car Wash in Lexington, which has been closed since December. An autopsy found he died of blunt force trauma to the head, according to the station.

Three people have been arrested in the case.

Thomas Lucky, 38, Joseph Sledge, 29, and Kavion Thomas, 24, are all charged with murder and robbery.

WKYT reports arrest citations allege Lucky, Sledge and Thomas beat the victim to death and then stole his wallet.

The investigation is ongoing.
