Han Solo's "Force Awakens" jacket fetches nearly $200,000 in charity auction

Since Harrison Ford won't be needing it anymore, he sold off his latest Han Solo jacket for a good cause -- and earned quite a bit doing so.

Ford auctioned off the genuine article worn while filming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" through charity auction site IfOnly to raise funds for epilepsy treatment and research at the NYU Langone Medical Center and FACES.

Ford's 25-year-old daughter, Georgia, suffers from epilepsy and is currently being treated at the NYU facility. Ford signed and dated the jacket, just in case the winner needs to prove its provenance.

The online auction, which wrapped up earlier this month, topped out at $191,000. Not too shabby for a scruffy looking nerf-herder.
