Halle Berry celebrates a big personal "Jungle Fever" anniversary

Time certainly flies, doesn't?

For Halle Berry it certainly has. The Oscar-winning actress posted a pretty epic throwback Thursday photo to commemorate a personal milestone in her acting career: the release of Spike Lee's "Jungle Fever."

"Twenty-five years ago this week, [Spike Lee] gave me my first film role in 'Jungle Fever!' Foul mouth crack hoe, Viv," she posted to Instagram. "Thank you Spike for seeing past the exterior and for believing in me as an actor. I'm forever grateful. What a wonderful way to start a career. My love and respect to you always!"

Of course, Berry would've been cast in the movie and filmed her role more than 25 years ago, but it's still a great reason to celebrate.
