George W. Bush daughter spotted at Clinton fundraiser in Paris

Barbara Pierce Bush, daughter of former President George W. Bush, made an appearance at a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton in Paris this weekend, according to Instagram snapshots of the event.

Photos were posted to the social media site by Vogue contributing editor Lauren Santo Domingo and Vanity Fair’s Derek Blasberg:

Top Clinton aide Huma Abedin also appeared in the photos, along with actress and known Clinton supporter Dakota Fanning.

Bush, one of the ex-president’s twin girls, is not the only reported Clinton supporter in the former first family.

Last month, former President George H.W. Bush allegedly told Maryland’s lieutenant governor that he would vote for Clinton.

Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, whose name apparently appears as Kathleen Hartington on Facebook, posted a photo on the social networking website of her shaking the former president’s hand, with the status, “The President told me he’s voting for Hillary!!”

The elder Bush’s spokesman would neither confirming nor deny the report.

Ex-President George W. Bush has yet to announce his preferred candidate, but his brother and one-time Republican candidate Jeb Bush has refused to endorse Trump or declare his support for Clinton.

A spokesman for the former president did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
