Man accused of killing girlfriend, burying her in yard

GLENSHAW, Pa. - Police say a man killed his girlfriend during a drunken fight and then buried her in his yard.

CBS Pittsburgh reports that Donna See had been missing since Aug. 14, when the alleged confrontation with boyfriend George Biegenwald happened. Police say See, 50, struck her head during the fight, and Biegwenwald, 57, left her to bleed out in a bathtub in his Shaler Township, Pa., home.

He then allegedly stuffed her body in a basement refrigerator, before burying her in the yard, using bleach to ward off animals.

Biegenwald allegedly confessed to police, telling them that See jumped on his back, hitting him on the head with a back massager. Biegenwald said that when he threw her off, she hit her head on the corner of a bedroom dresser.

Biegenwald told police he tried to give See CPR, and allegedly said it took three days to dig the shallow grave behind his home.

See was discovered by police on Friday night. Biegenwald is charged with homicide, evidence-tampering and abuse of a corpse.
