Need advice? Ask Gayle King

"I have no professional credentials, but a lot of common sense and I LOVE giving advice. SO what's your problem?" CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King fielded questions this morning on our Facebook page, doling out advice.

Mariangel Gomez: What's your biggest aha from The Life You Want Tour?

Gayle King: That most people want to do better and be better and are searching for ways to accomplish that. Even those at the top of their game are searching for ways to do better and be better.

Maureen Salerno: What prevents someone to get a job when they had a good interview?

Gayle King: Chances are the interview isn't as good as you think it was. When you don't get something you want, it means something better is coming along for you. Don't get discouraged!

Raymond Burks: How do you remain focused and driven when you have a goal to reach?

Gayle King: I was at a SoulCycle class last night and Angela Davis (part instructor, part preacher) took the class to a whole other place. She said leave the hate behind, and turn your pain into your purpose and passion. I think that's good advice for most things in your life's journey.

Martin Edward S: I am a single dad raising two girls ..7 and 9 ..Any advice on the best way to raise girls ?...when your a guy !!!..scared iam doing it wrong !!!

Gayle King: I love that question, thanks for asking. First and foremost, treat your daughters the way you want them to be treated. They are always watching you, and you should know that. Teach them they should have kindness, love and respect for themselves and their bodies.
