"Game of Thrones" season 5 first trailer arrives online

Forget whether or not winter is coming -- is it April yet?

HBO has released the first trailer for season 5 of "Game of Thrones," after leaked versions of the video surfaced online (taped, apparently, during the show's IMAX screenings).

The two-minute clip has glimpses of Cersei and Jaimie Lannister, Littlefinger urging Sansa Stark to avenge her family members' deaths and a conversation between Tyrion and Varys about finding a new ruler to sit on the Iron Throne.

There are also battle scenes aplenty and, yes, dragons, too. All set to a cover of David Bowie's "Heroes."

The fifth season of "Game of Thrones" premieres on April 12 at 9 p.m. ET. Catch all the action in the trailer below:
