Ga. fugitive, on the run nearly 4 years, caught in Mexico

ATLANTA, GA.- A Georgia man wanted for allegedly drugging and assaulting a teenage girl has been captured in Mexico, reports CBS affiliate WGCL.

Authorities say Kenneth Dustin Grant was wanted for failure to appear on charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, child molestation, and sexual exploitation of children.

In 2008, Grant drugged and assaulted his friend's teenage daughter, police say. He had reportedly hired the girl to babysit his children. Officers say Grant also took pictures of the assault.

Grant also assaulted the girl's older sister, according to police. Investigators found him in possession of pictures of other young girls, reports WGCL.

Grant was supposed to appear in court in September 2010, but did not show up. Authorities found his ankle bracelet in a lake near his house, reports the station. His story was featured several times on the television show, "America's Most Wanted," according to WGCL.

The U.S. Marshals tracked Grant down in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he was reportedly residing with a false identity.

He was taken to Los Angeles and turned over to the police department there. He will remain there until he is extradited to Forsyth County, about 40 miles outside of Atlanta, reports the station.
