Fugitive in Hollywood nightclub shooting arrested in Vegas

LAS VEGAS - U.S. marshals in Nevada say a 36-year-old fugitive in a nightclub shooting that killed one person and wounded five in Hollywood last June has been arrested in Las Vegas.

Jail records show that Brian Long was being held Friday at the Clark County jail following his arrest Thursday.

The marshal service says Long was taken into custody by a team of local police and federal agents at a location southwest of the Las Vegas Strip.

He is scheduled for a court extradition hearing Monday.

Long had been sought by Los Angeles police on a warrant issued in California charging him with murder and five counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
