"Frozen" short film to screen before "Cinderella"

Anna, Elsa and Olaf are heading back to the big screen this spring.

A new animated short starring the "Frozen" characters will debut in theaters on March 13, 2015, ahead of showings of Disney's new live-action "Cinderella."

Here's the official synopsis for "Frozen Fever": "It's Anna's birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa's icy powers may put more than just the party at risk."

"Frozen" directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee both returned for "Frozen Fever," as did songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff all reprised their roles from the original film, too.

"Cinderella," directed by Kenneth Branagh, stars Lily James as the titular heroine, Richard Madden as the prince and Cate Blanchett as the wicked stepmother. You can watch the trailer below:
