Four children die in Missouri condominium fire

Four children were killed in a fire that broke out in a condominium complex late Tuesday night.

Osage Beach, Missouri firefighters responded to a call just after 11:30 p.m. after reports of seeing flames coming from the roof, reports CBS Jerfferson City, Missouri affiliate KRCG-TV.

Firefighters were able put out the fire in about two-and-a-half hours.

Officals say two adults and the four children were trapped in the building by the flames.

The adults were able to escape.

Officials tell KRCG one adult and the four children were inside the same unit.

The ages of the children and caused of the blaze weren't immediately known.
