Florida missing college students spark search in Everglades National Park

MIAMI -- Searchers with the National Park Service found three college students who went missing in Florida's Everglades National Park, the U.S. Coast Guard said.

The Coast Guard said on Twitter Thursday morning that no medical concerns were reported for the students.

A park service boat towed them back to shore.

The search began Wednesday evening, CBS Miami reports.

The Florida International University students were collecting water samples in a 21-foot Mako boat in Whitewater Bay.

The Coast Guard said they were notified around 8 p.m. that the students, two of whom are foreign exchange students, hadn't returned.
