FBI: Man threatened to put porn star's "bloody head" on Periscope

COLUMBUS, Ga. - A Georgia man has been arrested for allegedly using email and social media to threaten a former star of pornographic films, reports CBS Atlanta.

The FBI says Brian Blankenship used the name "Joe Cook" to send threats to an actress who used the stage name "Malena Morgan."

Blankenship, 25, allegedly used the video-streaming app Periscope to send the threats, reports the Ledger-Enquirer.

"When you walk out of your house and see me it will be to (sic) late," he reportedly said. "You're (sic) next Periscope will be your bloody head on a stick..."

In a Twitter exchange, Morgan told the Ledger-Enquirer she quit the pornography business in 2013.
