FBI: "Black Hat Bandits" rob another bank in Virginia

FALLS CHURCH -- According to the FBI, the "Black Hat Bandits" robbed a Virginia bank on Monday afternoon, according to CBS affiliate WUSA.

The robbery took place around 12:44 p.m. at the Wells Fargo branch located at W. Broad Street in Falls Church, reports the station. This marks the eighth robbery committed by the Black Hat Bandits since January.

Officials say that two suspects dressed in all black -- and brandishing small firearms -- entered the bank with ski masks covering their faces while a third suspect waited in a vehicle.

They then fled the scene in the car toward toward West and Broad Street.

Witnesses described the suspects as males in their early forties between 5'7" and 5'9" tall, according to WUSA.

Police say that two of the previous robberies occurred in Maryland, and six occurred in Northern Virginia.
