Father: Sons who attacked me, mom had "bad moment"

ATLANTA -- A father who says he was attacked by his sons in the family's suburban Atlanta home says the two brothers had "one bad moment."

In an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America" on Monday, Zachery Ervin also said that he and his wife, Yvonne, have informed their sons that they love them unconditionally and forgive them.

Police say 22-year-old Christopher Ervin and 17-year-old Cameron Ervin face charges including aggravated assault and arson after the Sept. 5 attack.

Yvonne Ervin told a 911 dispatcher her sons were trying to kill her, and that they had attacked her and her husband. She said they put Xanax in their parents' drinks before the attack.

Officers said they found a bloody scene inside the home, and Zachary Ervin emerged from the garage covered in blood.
