Ex-teacher accused of sexual relationship with student

HUNT COUNTY, Texas -- Police say they have arrested a former teacher in the Dallas metro area for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student, reports CBS DFW.

Thirty-five-year-old Bradley Lewis, who was also a coach for the Quinlan Independent School District, was arrested on Monday, according to the station. He is reportedly accused of having a relationship with a 15-year-old female student during the 2013-2014 school year.

Lewis left the district shortly afterwards and became a police officer for the city of Terrell. He resigned from that post when the investigation into the sexual assault began, according to CBS DFW.

He reportedly faces multiple charges, including sexual assault of a child and an improper relationship between an educator and student.

Lewis' bond has been set at $300,000, the station reported.
