Entertainment buzz: Facebook's top 10 moments of the week

Can we talk?

That's what many were saying this week as they remembered the life -- and all the laughs -- of Joan Rivers.

Not surprisingly, her death made the trailblazing comedy icon the most-talked-about topic in the entertainment world this week.

Other stories that made the cut included the latest celebrity nude photo hack, Adam Levine's knack for impressions and controversial comments made by CeeLo Green.

Facebook has tallied the top 10 buzziest stories in entertainment this week, and all of those topics made the most-talked-about list. What had you talking? See what you missed in this exclusive list on CBSNews.com.

1. Joan Rivers dead at 81

Joan Rivers, a pioneer for women in stand-up comedy and television, died Thursday at the age of 81, a week after she suffered cardiac arrest during surgery on her throat at a Manhattan clinic. Through the ups and downs of her life and career, Rivers' brash, sharp-tongued brand of comedy never changed -- she skewered celebrities, public figures and, many a time, herself.

Many have paid tribute, but her daughter, Melissa Rivers, said it best: "My mother's greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon."

2. Former Survivor lead singer Jimi Jamison dies at 63

Jimi Jamison, lead singer of rock band Survivor, also died this week, his family confirmed. His booking manager, Sally Irwin, told TMZ that Jamison died Sunday at his home in Memphis after suffering a heart attack.

Jamison was the voice behind Survivor songs "The Search is Over," "Is This Love," "The Moment of Truth" and "Burning Heart" (the title track from "Rocky IV"). He also co-wrote and sang on "I'm Always Here," the theme from "Baywatch."

3. Cast of the 1994 movie "The Little Rascals" reunites for a 20th anniversary photo shoot

Need a bit of nostalgia to cheer you up after all this week's sad news? Look no further -- it's been two decades since "The Little Rascals" hit the big screen, and to mark the occasion the cast got back together for a photo shoot. The young actors were between 4 and 9 years old when the movie was made, but they're all grown up now.

4. "Duck Dynasty"'s Phil Robertson tells Sean Hannity that ISIS members should convert to Christianity or be killed

Phil Robertson, the patriarch from A&E's reality series "Duck Dynasty," made an appearance on Fox News this past week, where he told Sean Hannity how he would deal with the extremist group ‪ISIS‬. You can watch his interview in the clip below:

5. Parody news website Empire News' wordplay sparks Internet rumor that Betty White "dyed"

Don't fret, guys -- Betty White is still with us. A post from a satirical website sparked rumors that the actress had died, but those who were distressed by the story misread the headline, or didn't pick up on the joke. The "article" said the actress "dyes peacefully at her Los Angeles home." No, that's not a typo - the story was about how White is "not a natural blonde" and has "been dying her hair in her home for decades."

6. TBS cancels CeeLo Green's show, "The Good Life," in wake of controversial rape comments

CeeLo Green's reality show won't be getting a second season, a TBS spokeswoman confirmed on Wednesday. She didn't give a reason, but The Hollywood Reporter cited sources that said the network made the decision because of poor ratings. Confirmation of the cancellation came days after Green's tweets about rape caused a public outrage.

He apologized for the comments Monday: "I truly and deeply apologize for the comments attributed to me on Twitter. Those comments were idiotic, untrue and not what I believe."

7. Hackers post nude photos of celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton

Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and other stars were victims of hackers who stole nude photos of them and posted the images online. Lawrence's publicist called the hack "a flagrant violation of privacy," the FBI issued a statement saying it was addressing the matter and Apple maintains its iCloud service was not breached and instead that "certain celebrity accounts were compromised by a very targeted attack on user names, passwords and security questions, a practice that has become all too common on the Internet."

8. Adam Levine performs random musical impressions on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon

We all know by now that Jimmy Fallon loves doing musical impressions -- but it turns out Adam Levine is pretty good at them, too. On "The Tonight Show" this week, the Maroon 5 frontman and "The Voice" coach took turns with Fallon doing impressions of various musicians singing random songs. Ever wondered what it would sound like if Michael Jackson sang the "Sesame Street" theme? Wonder no more.

9. Big brawl during the Season 3 reunion episode of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta"

Another reality show reunion, another fight. This time, a brawl broke out during a reunion episode for the third season of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta." Things escalated pretty quickly, as you can see in the clip at the link below:

10. Lifetime airs "The Unauthorized Saved By the Bell Story," recounting the cast's drama behind the scenes

Did you take some "Time Out" (as Zach Morris would say) to watch Lifetime's unauthorized "Saved by the Bell" movie? If you did, you're in a very small group -- the movie premiered on Labor Day to just 1.6 million viewers during its initial 9 p.m. telecast. That's less than half the group that tuned in for the network's adaptation of "Flowers in the Attic" (3.4 million) and Lindsay Lohan's turn as Elizabeth Taylor in "Liz & Dick" (3.5 million). Ouch.
