Who doesn't love a little song and dance?
Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling are looking to channel some classic Hollywood musical style in their upcoming film, "La La Land" -- and the first trailer, released Wednesday, promises quite an experience.
Written and directed by Academy Award nominee Damien Chazelle ("Whiplash"), "La La LA Land" follows an aspiring actress (Stone) and a jazz musician (Gosling) as they struggle to make ends meet in modern-day Los Angeles -- with some very throwback-friendly musical stylings.
Fans who are already sold on the idea can even download the first single from the film, "City of Stars" -- featuring vocals by Gosling -- from iTunes.
"La La Land" is in theaters this December.
