Eminem joins Drake onstage in Detroit, quashing feud rumors
Where better to end a feud than on the stage in your hometown? Eminem made a surprise cameo at Drake’s Detroit concert on Tuesday night, putting an end to the rumors that the two rappers had a beef.
As he took to the stage, the Detroit native shouted, “Detroit, make some motherf**king noise for Drake!” as Drake bowed down to him.
The “Hotline Bling” emcee then declared, “Make some noise for the greatest rapper to ever get on a microphone,” as the crowd roared.
Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, made his surprise appearance as part of Drake’s Summer Sixteen Tour featuring rapper Future.
Rumors of a feud between the two started with Eminem’s Slaughterhouse group mate Joe Budden, who has been at-odds with Drake since publicly insulting his newest album, Views. Things escalated when a DJ claimed he’d gotten word that Eminem was making an album dedicated to insulting Drake.

Though Mathers is known for calling out other celebs in his lyrics, the DJ later claimed it was a joke.
Eminem’s cameo came toward the end of the lengthy show and he spit several verses of his 2007 song, “Forever,” which originally featured a collaboration with Kanye West and Lil Wayne as well as Drake.
