Elaine Stritch to be celebrated with star-studded Broadway tribute

Bernadette Peters, Patti Lupone, Hal Prince, Betty Buckley, Christine Ebersole and Michael Feinstein are among those set to salute late theater icon Elaine Stritch at a one-night-only Broadway tribute next month.

The show, "Everybody, Rise! A Celebration of Elaine Stritch," led by George C. Wolfe, will be held on Nov. 17 at The Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City. A limited number of tickets will be made available to the public.

How tickets will be distributed will be announced later. According to The Hollywood Reporter, other stars are also expected to join the lineup.

Tony and Emmy Award-winning Stritch, who died in July at age 89, found new fans as Alec Baldwin's mother on NBC's "30 Rock," but she was best known for her stage work -- especially her candid one-woman show "At Liberty" and in the Stephen Sondheim musical "Company."
