"DWTS" season 20: Week 5 celebrates all things Disney
It's Disney week on "Dancing with the Stars," and the night was filled with great dances, sweet homages and some truly stunning celebrations of the studio's animated legacy.
"Lady and the Tramp," "Aladdin," "The Little Mermaid," "Mary Poppins" and "Frozen" were just a few classics that the "DWTS" contestants chose to adapt for their routines this week.
We saw some of the best dances of the season so far this week, however, the night also had its fair share of bizarre moments, poorly thought-out dance routines, and some stuff that had to make some Disney lovers simply cringe. Let's take a look at the best, worst and absolutely weirdest moments of the night.
THE BEST
Rumer Willis Is a Sexy Sea Witch
Rumer eschewed the tradition of dancing like a princess and instead chose to play the villainous Ursula from "The Little Mermaid" - complete with wild hair and purple skin -- while her partner Val Chmerkovskiy donned green make-up and creepy contacts to play one of Ursula's pet eels. The dance was passionate, aggressive and as sexy as you could possible imagine Ursula ever being.
Tony Dovolani Is the Most Supportive Pro Partner
Tony has always been one of the best pro partners on "DWTS" because he's more than just a talented dancer or choreographer. He's also a patient, dedicated and supportive teacher. When Suzanne Somers declared that she wanted to quit, Tony showed his true stripes with a powerful and supportive pep talk that got Suzanne's head back in the game.
Artem Chigvintsev Knows How to Rock a Tux
While the dance was just okay, Patti LaBelle's pro partner shined in this classic, grey tux & tails. Shouldn't we all just come together and agree that this is a style that should enjoy a comeback?
Willow Shields Is a Wonderful Alice
Mark Ballas' rabbit mask might have looked like something out of a horror movie, but Willow ruled as the classic Alice, trapped in a wonderland filled with the evil Red Queen's dancing card soldiers. She couldn't have been better, and was rewarded with incredibly solid scores.
Riker Lynch Is an Amazing Dancing Jack Sparrow
Riker and Allison set the bar incredibly high with their "Pirates of the Caribbean"-themed routine that had Ryker decked out as the iconic Captain Jack, and he couldn't have nailed the role any more perfectly.
THE WORST
Sexy Mary Poppins
Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson performed a routine set to the classic "Mary Poppins" song "Step in Time" and Kym dressed up as a sexy Mary Poppins showing off her cleavage. That's not something that anyone ever needs to see.
Mark Ballas Is Nightmare Fuel
Mark Ballas, in his continuing attempt to turn "DWTS" into a set-decorating contest that also has some dancing in it, dressed up as the White Rabbit for his "Alice in Wonderland"-themed dance with Willow. To say Mark's costume was insanely creepy would be an understatement. Host Tom Beregeron said it best when he joked, "No, that's not Hugh Hefner's nightmare, it's just Disney night."
Chris Soules Made Witney Carson Cry
How dare you Chris Soules?! Witney Carson is adorable and talented and perfect. You're a Bachelor star. She won "Dancing with the Stars" last season, so how about your just listen to her coaching and shut up?
THE WEIRDEST
Mickey and Donald Take Over the Control Room
It was Disney night, so we had to get random shots of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck doing weird stuff. It never fit, it never made sense, and it just felt forced the whole time.
Chris Soules Looks a Lot Like the Real Hercules
It doesn't even make sense how much this guy looks like the animated Hercules. Chris might have rubbed some people the wrong way by making his partner Witney cry, but you can't deny that he fit the part bizarrely well.
Olaf Makes a Special Cameo
During Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough's Frozen-themed number, Olaf the snowman made a special appearance on the judge's desk. It was cute, but everyone's awkward reactions to the on-screen graphics were so forced it was hilarious.
THE BIG GOODBYE (SPOILERS)
It was such a fun night of Disney dances that you almost forgot one of the stars was going to have to go home at the end.
Sadly, it came down to two couples: Chris and his partner Witney and Suzanne and her partner Tony. While it really could have gone either way, it looks like Chris' good will earned from his time on "The Bachelor" might have saved him, because it was the former Three's Company star who ended up going home.

The competition is heating up, and there are a few front-runners who are constantly proving their skills each week. Rumer, Nastia, Riker and Willow are dancing powerhouses time and again, and this week the results cemented their roles as the show's best competitors.
