Donald Trump to meet with GOP governors Tuesday

Donald Trump will be meeting with several Republican governors Tuesday -- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin, Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant, and Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson are confirmed to show up. Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam, and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey are also slated to come to the meeting at Trump Tower, reports CBS News' Sopan Deb, citing a GOP source.

Christie will lead Trump's transition team and has probably spent more time with Trump than any of the governors attending the meeting. He endorsed Trump soon after he left the race, and he's campaigned with Trump on several occasions since then. He has appeared by his side at a handful of primary victory nights, as well.

The reason for the meeting has not been disclosed, and the Trump campaign did not return request for comment.
