Dolly Parton will perform with Katy Perry at the ACM Awards

Dolly Parton will be celebrating her receiving the Tex Ritter Award at the upcoming 51st Academy of Country Music Awards by making a little music -- and she'll have a little help, too.

Parton announced on her website Monday that she'll be accepting the award from presenter Katy Perry and confirmed that the two will be singing together for the first time.

The Tex Ritter Award is handed out each year to a film that features country music. Parton is being feted with the award for her TV movie biopic, "Coat of Many Colors." Previous winners have included "Country Strong," "Walk the Line" and "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas."

The 51st Academy of Country Music Awards will air Sunday, April 3 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
