DJ E-Z Rock of "It Takes Two" fame dies
DJ E-Z Rock, known for the late '80s song "It Takes Two," has died. He was 46.
His collaborator, Rob Base, revealed the news on Twitter:

— Rob Base (@Robbasemusic) April 28, 2014The rapper, born Rodney Bryce, grew up in Harlem, N.Y., and became friends with Base in fourth grade. The hip-hop duo landed a recording contract in 1987 and released a debut album a year later
The album featured the hit song "It Takes Two," which samples heavily from Lyn Collins' 1972 "Think (About It)" and features the lyrics: "It takes two to make a thing go right / It takes two to make it outta sight." The set also featured the singles "Joy and Pain" and "Get on the Dance Floor."
Two more albums followed: Base's solo release in 1989 called "The Incredible Bass" and the duo's 1994 set, "The Break of Dawn."
