Deputies: Pregnant Fla. woman attacked roommate over butter

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. - Deputies in Volusia County, Fla. have charged a 24-year-old pregnant woman with aggravated battery after they say she attacked her roommate during an argument over butter, reports CBS affiliate WKMG.

With all due props to Dr. Seuss... a bitter butter battery?

Jennifer Feagley, who is six months pregnant, was arrested Jan. 7.

Deputies said Feagley became agitated when her roommate asked her why she put butter on the stove, and then hit her roommate in the head.

Feagley then punched her roommate in the chest, choked her and hit her with a cane, according to the report obtained by WKMG.

Deputies reportedly said Feagley told them her rage is due to hormones from her pregnancy and that she is diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, but that she hasn't been taking her medication during her pregnancy.
