Travette Campbell has a lengthy criminal history, according to the station, including at least five prior felony convictions. A current criminal complaint alleges identity theft.

Surveillance video shows the juror going through security, sending her purse and jewelry through a metal detector, but then forgetting to collect her ring and watch on the other end.

The footage then shows Campbell reaching into the bin that had just been used.

Officers identified Campbell from the video and later recovered the stolen items at her house, CBS Minnesota reported.

Police say she admitted to taking the items, but claimed she thought it was costume jewelry.
