Greyhound bus crash kills one near Dallas

ARLINGTON, Texas - One person has been killed and at least 20 hurt after a Greyhound bus crash early Sunday on I-30 in Arlington.

The accident was first reported around 5:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-30 near Center Street not far from AT&T Stadium, reports CBS Dallas.

Emergency officials reported more than 20 people hurt. While most of the injuries were minor, at least one person was taken to the hospital via air ambulance, officials said.

MedStar, the Fort Worth-based medical emergency service, sent its am-bus to the scene - a vehicle normally reserved for mass casualty incidents.

The freeway was closed for hours as police and emergency responders tended to the injured and worked to investigate the crash.
