Danica McKellar is engaged

Actress Danica McKellar is engaged.

The former star of "The Wonder Years" revealed the big news via Instagram, posting a photo of her ring along with the caption: "So...can you guess what my big news is??"

McKellar, 39, added on Twitter: "Yep, my amazing boyfriend Scott & I are engaged!! (He's the one @iamvalc did a shout out to on #DWTS) :) Hugs to you all!"

People reports that McKellar and new fiance, Scott Sveslosky, a partner at the international law firm Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, LLP, plan to marry later this year.

McKellar has a 3-year-old son named Draco from her previous marriage to Mike Verta. They were married from 2009-2013.

McKellar recently competed on "Dancing with the Stars."
