Cops: Woman kills son's boyfriend at Ala. truck stop

McCALLA, Ala. - A woman is accused of fatally shooting her son's boyfriend at an Alabama truck stop Monday evening, reports CBS affiliate WIAT.

Tuscaloosa County deputies and Woodstock police responded to a report of a shooting at the Love's Truck Stop in McCalla around 6 p.m. Monday.

When deputies arrived, they found Jamie Johnson, 36, lying on the ground suffering form a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries.

Anita Hill, 51, is charged with murder and is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

Investigators say Hill's son and the victim had been involved in a long-term relationship and were meeting at the truck stop to talk, reports the station.

The incident remains under investigation.
