Cops: Two N.J. men dead in apparent murder-suicide

RINGWOOD, N.J. - Authorities say two men whose bodies were found over the weekend in a northern New Jersey home apparently died in a murder-suicide.

But further details on the victims and the circumstances surrounding their deaths have not been disclosed.

The Bergen Record reports the bodies of two men were found Sunday in a home on Cupsaw Drive in Ringwood. Their names have not been released.

Ringwood Police Chief Bernard Lombardo told the newspaper there was “no threat to the public,” but he referred all questions to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Neighbors told the Record that there were two or three men living in the house where the bodies were discovered, and that their car had not been moved in a long time.

On Monday, police pulled stacks of letters out of the home's mailbox, including a disconnected utility notice, reports the Record.
