Slain Wash. State man may have interrupted burglary

RENTON, Wash. — The King County Sheriff's Office says a Renton-area home where a man was shot and killed Monday night is owned by the proprietors of a medical marijuana business.

Ryan Prince was found dead at the home on Lake Desire Drive, about 10 miles from downtown Seattle. Detectives say the 27-year-old might have interrupted a burglary, and they're asking the public for tips, with a reward of up to $1,000.

Sheriff's deputies arrived at the home around 10:40 p.m. and found that Prince was not breathing, reports the Seattle Times.

The home is owned by the owners and operators of The Solution, a medical marijuana business.

Detectives request that anyone with information  call the sheriff’s office at 206-296-3311, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477). Callers may remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
