Mary Palmer-Correa, 49, was reportedly booked into the Clackamas County Jail on charges of second-degree theft. Police say she instructed her young daughter to steal the packages from multiple homes while she waited in the car.

Mary Palmer-Correa was taken into custody last week at her home in Oregon City after a Milwaukie resident reported a package theft, police said. Numerous stolen items were recovered at Palmer-Correa's home including books, cups, pillows, a light set and a TV wall mount, police said.

Some of the items have been returned to their owners, but police say they are still working to identify other victims, reports the station.
