Movie-goer shot dead in apparent argument over texting

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - A shooting at a suburban Tampa movie theater left a man dead and a woman injured Monday afternoon, reports CBS affiliate WTSP.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, two couples were at Cobb Theater's Grove 16 & CineBistro in Wesley Chapel, Fla., to see the movie Lone Survivor when they got into an argument in the theater. He said the male suspect took out a gun and shot the couple sitting in front of him.

Sheriff Chris Nocco said that, at one point, the couples had been arguing about texting.

A man inside the theater reportedly detained the suspect until authorities arrived. Everyone else was evacuated without incident.

The sheriff's says both victims were airlifted to a hospital, where the man was pronounced dead. The woman reportedly has non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say the shooting was an "isolated incident."
