Cops: Fla. dad fatally shot in dispute with son, 15

AVALON PARK, Fla. – Christopher Albano, a 35-year-old father, was shot and killed in a dispute with his 15-year-old son early New Year’s Day, authorities in Orange County, Fla. say, according to CBS affiliate WKMG.

The shooting occurred at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday in Avalon Park, Fla.

Deputies say Albano came home intoxicated and hit his wife, reports the station. Albano’s 15-year-old son then allegedly shot and killed him.

Four people in total were reportedly in the home at the time of the shooting.

No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, reports the station. The investigation is ongoing.
