Cops: Del. man crashes into school bus; arrested for 7th DUI

NEWARK, Del. -- A Delaware man was arrested for his seventh DUI after allegedly crashing into a parked school bus on Thursday, reports CBS Philadelphia.

Police say state troopers responded to a Newark, Del., bus yard on the report of an unresponsive driver behind the wheel. They say they found John R. Owens, 57, passed out in a vehicle.

Police say they believe Owens drove into the lot, struck the school bus, exited onto a road, re-entered the lot and struck a chain link fence before passing out in the vehicle.

Police say he's been charged with DUI -- his seventh such offense -- as well as driving while suspended and no valid proof of insurance.
