Cops: Boy robs San Diego ice cream truck with gun

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Police in San Diego are trying to identify a young boy who brandished some sort of hand gun and robbed an ice cream truck driver Feb. 20.

Police describe the boy as between 10 and 12 years old.

The driver, who was uninjured, handed over cash and the boy rode away on a skateboard.

Officer James Johnson said that it is possible the weapon was a pellet gun, but investigators are treating the situation as if it were a real hand gun.
