Conn. high school teacher accused of sex with student

WATERBURY, Conn. - A Connecticut high school teacher is charged with four counts of sexual assault after she turned herself in to police on Saturday afternoon, reports CBS affiliate WFSB.

Meghan Eagan, a 26-year-old teacher at Crosby High School in Waterbury, is accused of having sex with a male student four times during late December 2013 and January 2014, police say.

Waterbury police say all of the alleged incidents occurred at Eagan's home.

Eagan has been placed on administrative leave from her teaching position pending the outcome of the investigation, reports the station.

She posted $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 25.
