Conan O'Brien pays on-air tribute to Robin Williams

Many in Hollywood took to social media to remember Robin Williams, but Conan O'Brien learned news of the actor-comedian's death Monday while taping his talk show and closed the episode with a heartfelt tribute.

"We're just processing this information literally right at this moment, and so we are thinking of Robin's family," he said, sharing the news with his "Conan" audience.

"We're thinking about everybody who he touched around the world, throughout his life," O'Brien added. "We're thinking about Robin tonight. There's really not much else to say."

The host's guest for the evening, actor Will Arnett, shared a tribute of his own.

"As funny as he was -- he's truly one of the all-time greats -- he was even better as a person," Arnett said. "He was even more fantastic -- just the loveliest, sweetest, one of the kindest guys that I've ever worked with. Just such a soft, warm, emotionally sweet guy, and it's a major, major loss for everybody."
