Coming soon to your inbox: The Lena Dunham experience

Lena Dunham is launching an email newsletter with "Girls" showrunner Jenni Konner.

Dunham announced the launch of the weekly newsletter, Lenny, with a photo on her Instagram account Tuesday. "Feminism, style, health, politics: we will strive to bring it all to your inbox and to highlight unique voices," the caption read.

Debuting in fall 2015, the newsletter even has its own Instagram account, complete with a welcome video by Dunham and Konner.

Lenny is geared toward millennial women and will deliver original content by Dunham's celebrity friends and its own team, led by Slate and Jezebel veteran Jessica Grose, Buzzfeed reported.

Dunham thought of the idea on her "Not That Kind of Girl" book tour, according to the Cut.

"With Lenny there's no such thing as TMI, there's no such thing as self-involved," Dunham told Buzzfeed. "We'll be allowed to show the ugly and complicated thought processes that go into forming your own brand of feminism, and your own identity, because it's not all clean back here."

Dunham and Konner are self-funding the newsletter, and they aim to expand into e-commerce with artisan products made by women.
