Coldplay, Beyonce release music video "Hymn for the Weekend"
A "Hymn for the Weekend"? Amen.
It's Friday and Coldplay and Beyonce just dropped an epic music video set in Mumbai. Queen Bey looks regal as usual in her gilded, decked-out ensemble. Beyonce spends the video dancing against a floral backdrop.
The members of Coldplay are a little more low-key, exploring the city in rickshaws and by foot in the video.
Viewers can see Mumbai, as the video shows the city's colorful buildings, temples, Hindu priests and kids throw paint powders at each other. Unsurprisingly, Coldplay's members get hit with paint while Beyonce stays pristine.
Fans can expect to hear "Hymn for the Weekend" when Beyonce and Coldplay take on Super Bowl 50.
The singer will perform at the Feb. 7 show at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The track is also on Coldplay's new album, "A Head Full of Dreams."
Super Bowl 50 airs on Feb. 7 on CBS. After the game, CBS will air special episodes from late-night hosts Stephen Colbert and James Corden.
