Christian Bale and wife expecting second child

Christian Bale is going to be a dad again.

The Oscar-winner and wife Sandra "Sibi" Blazic are expecting their second child.

People confirmed the baby news over the weekend, after the two walked the red carpet together at last week's Oscars ceremony (where Bale was a nominee for "American Hustle"). E! News was first to report it.

The couple, who have been married for 14 years, are already parents to a 9-year-old daughter. Bale, 40, is set to appear next in two Terrence Malick films (one called "Knight of Cups," the other currently untitled) and as Moses in Ridley Scott's Biblical epic "Exodus," slated to come out this December.
