The animators released a mash-up combining “Peanuts” and this summer’s streaming hit “Stranger Things” called “Merry Christmas Will Byers,” a three-minute short that even the ‘80s kids of the popular Netflix series would appreciate.
In it, young Will has returned from the Upside Down but is having trouble adjusting, despite his friends’ efforts to cheer him up. Of course, Eleven might not make the best therapist.
It all ends well, though -- unless you’re in the Justice for Barb camp.
“Stranger Things” will return for a second season on Netflix in 2017.
